We are looking for an experienced (4 – 6 years) Sales Manager to build and drive growth in our Sales & Distribution/Downstream Supply Chain Management solution Outreach Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with experience in the FMCG/CPG/Consumer Electronics industry, and will be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and analysing market trends and potential clients.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
4. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our supply chain management solutions.
5. Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
7. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market.
9. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our solutions.
Skills
1. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role, preferably within the
Sales & Distribution/Downstream Supply Chain Management solution industry.
2. Deliver high-quality presentations to clients.
3. Ability to grasp and quickly understand markets, methodologies, and techniques.
4. Good organizer with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
5. Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and processes accurately.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills able to generate
interest and engages the client during presentations.
7. Ability to maintain a positive, motivational, 'get things done' attitude, especially
when faced with difficult circumstances.
8. Excellent sales/negotiation skills, commitment to customer satisfaction, and a
hunger to develop new businesses.
9. Achieves strategic customer objectives and account plans defined by company
management.
10. Good relationship-building skills (internal, external, and cross-cultural).
11. Well-developed interpersonal skills for the internal and external clients; Problem-
solving skills.
